Rescheduling, Cancellation & Class Policies
1st and Following Reschedules:
24 hours prior to the class start time, rescheduling is free of charge. Within 24 hours of the course start time, students are subject to a $30 fee for BLS and cpr/fa/aed and $55 for advanced courses. This notice requirement changes to 72 hours after the first reschedule.
If notified prior to 24 hours of the class start time, a refund may be issued with the exclusion of processing fees (equal to deposits). Within 24 hours, the class payment is non-refundable. You may credit the payment to any course within 120 days.
No call/No show:
No refunds are given. This consists of no prior notification through text, call, or email of your absence prior to the class start time.
Arrival 10 minutes post-class start time, we will ask you to reschedule and the respective rescheduling fees will apply. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early
**FALSE DISPUTES & CHARGBACKS POLICY**
We are committed to addressing any concerns you may have in a fair manner; however, we also have an obligation to protect our instructors and ensure that the terms and conditions agreed upon during enrollment are upheld.
If a false dispute is filed against the terms and conditions you have agreed to upon enrollment, a chargeback fee of $30 per transaction will be applied. We will take the necessary steps to recover this amount, and if required, the matter may be escalated to collections.
In cases where we have generously processed a reduced late rescheduling fee instead of charging you the full price of the course, as initially agreed upon, we reserve the right to add the remaining balance of the course cost to the previously stated chargeback amount.
Please be aware that we take such actions with professionalism and solely in the interest of maintaining the integrity of our services. We are happy to address any concerns you may have prior to involving a third party.
If you choose to pay with a small deposit and the rest in cash on-site, please note the following:
- You hereby authorize Cardiox Care to automatically charge the same payment methods used for your deposit if fees incur.
- If you need a receipt for reimbursement, ensure to pay in full electronically to automatically receive a receipt automatically via email. deposits are not refundable, debit payments made on-site will incur a $3 admin fee, notify 24+ hours in advance to null.
- If you decide to cancel within the 24-hour window or no-show, just as with full credit and debit payments, you will be charged the price of the respective course. Your deposit will be credited towards this. This applies if the required pre-work is not completed before class as well.
Initials vs Renewals:
Initials – Students who are taking the course for the first time or expired past 30 days.
Renewals – Students with an active or “Expired within 30 days” card. You must submit a copy after you register.
Meeting the Minimum:
We have a minimum number of attendees for any course. If not met, we will contact you well in advance with all of our available times
14 years, any minors must have their legal guardian on the premises throughout the course.
For any legal name changes for past certifications, BLS is $20, CPR/FA/AED or CPR/AED is $30.
Booking a Course:
All bookings must be completed through our website and are by appointment only. A full payment or deposit must be made before your reservation is complete.
