CARDIOX CARE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Select the exact course or skills session from your registration to view the applicable policies. Only one section opens at a time to avoid mixing terms between classes.

REGISTRATION AGREEMENT NOTICE
  • Before continuing to secure checkout, students are required to review and agree to the terms and conditions for the class or skills session selected during registration.
  • The registration/payment form requires a terms acknowledgment before the checkout step can be completed.
  • These policies apply to the class or skills session selected at registration and help document the rescheduling, cancellation, attendance, preparation, and payment policies agreed to before payment.
PAYMENT DISPUTE & RESOLUTION NOTICE
  • If there is a concern about a payment, cancellation, reschedule, class credit, or attendance issue, please contact Cardiox Care directly first so we can review the matter and attempt to resolve it professionally.
  • Filing a payment dispute or chargeback does not override the terms and conditions acknowledged during registration.
  • If a dispute is filed for a valid charge that is consistent with these agreed terms, and the balance remains unresolved, Cardiox Care may pursue the remaining balance, applicable fees, and recovery costs through lawful collection options, to the extent permitted by law.

Choose the exact class or skills session from the registration. Do not assume the first section applies to every student.
1. AHA BLS Full Class
VIEWING: AHA BLS Full Class Terms
RESCHEDULING
  • More than 24 hours before class: reschedule at no cost.
  • Within 24 hours of class: a $30 rescheduling fee will apply.
  • All reschedule requests must be made directly to 281-524-2767 by SMS or phone call from the same phone number used at registration.
  • If your within-24-hours reschedule request is approved, you must choose and secure your new class date and time within 72 hours of reschedule approval.
  • Your new class date and time must also be finalized within 30 days of the original registration date, unless otherwise approved by us.
  • If no new date is secured within these required timeframes, your registration may be treated as a late cancellation.
CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOW
  • 24+ hours before class: a partial refund may be issued, but the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Within 24 hours of class: payments are non-refundable.
  • If approved by staff, a partial credit may be applied toward a future class within 60 days, after any applicable rescheduling fee has been deducted.
  • All cancellation requests must be communicated directly to Cardiox Care by SMS or phone call from the same phone number used at registration.
  • No refunds will be issued for a no call / no show.
  • Notice received within 1 hour of class start time is treated as a no call / no show and does not qualify for a refund.
ATTENDANCE / SAFETY
  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. If you arrive 10+ minutes late, you may need to reschedule and fees may apply.
  • If you are sick or think you may be sick, please notify us before heading to your class so we can help protect other students and advise you on next steps.
  • Students work closely together during skills practice, and anyone who appears sick may be asked to leave and reschedule.
  • Non-registered guests are not permitted unless approved in advance.
  • Any request to bring a non-registered guest must be made at least 24 hours before the class. Approval is not guaranteed.
  • Our classs involve movement, training equipment, and a focused learning environment, so arriving with an unapproved guest may require you to reschedule.
REMEDIATION
  • If you do not pass the written or hands-on testing requirements, you must review the material and return to retest.
  • The first remediation is free, except in rare cases at instructor discretion.
PHOTOS / VIDEOS / COPYRIGHT
  • Photos and short video clips are welcome.
  • Recording substantial portions of course videos, instructional media, skills demonstrations, or other copyrighted training content is strictly prohibited.
AUTHORIZATIONS (CASH PAYMENTS)
  • If you choose the cash balance option, Cardiox Care may charge the payment method used for your deposit if applicable fees or balances are owed.
  • To switch from cash to debit or credit card, please notify us at least 24 hours before your class.
  • If requested in advance, we can send an invoice by text and email. It must be paid before your class.
  • Cash receipts are provided after the class so we can start on time and maintain class flow.
  • If you need an automatic receipt for reimbursement, please pay electronically in full.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you wait until the class to switch from cash to card, a $5 administrative fee may apply.

2. AHA BLS Skills Session

RESCHEDULING

  • You are registering for the BLS Skills Session, which is Part 2 of the course.
  • You are responsible for purchasing and completing AHA HeartCode BLS Part 1 independently through the AHA website before attending your skills session.
  • BLS HeartCode Part 1 takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
  • We strongly recommend completing Part 1 at least a few days before class, or up to one week before class when possible.
  • If you register closer to the class date, please begin Part 1 as soon as possible after registration.
  • Your completed Part 1 proof must be submitted to us no later than 7:00 p.m. the day before class.
  • Starting early gives you time to contact us before the deadline if you have access issues, missing submissions, or questions about the instructions.
  • If Part 1 is not completed and submitted by the deadline, you will be required to reschedule, and the applicable rescheduling fee will apply.

3. AHA ACLS Full Class

  • Please allow at least 1.5 hours to complete your prep work. Some students may need additional time depending on course requirements and experience level.
  • Prep work is not considered complete until it has been submitted to us through the form link(s) we provide.
  • By moving forward, you agree to complete and submit all required prep work no later than 7:00 p.m. the day before class.
  • We highly recommend starting prep work at least one week before class. If you register closer to the class date, please begin as soon as possible after registration.
  • Starting early gives you time to contact us before the deadline if you have access issues, missing submissions, or questions about the instructions.
  • If prep work is not submitted by the deadline, you will be required to reschedule, and the applicable rescheduling fee will apply.

7. American Red Cross BLS Skills Session

RED CROSS ONLINE PORTION REQUIREMENT
  • You are registering for the American Red Cross BLS Skills Session, which is the in-person skills checkoff portion.
  • After registration, we will send you the required Red Cross online portion at no additional cost.
  • You are responsible for completing the online portion and submitting proof of completion before attending your skills session.
  • We strongly recommend completing the online portion several days before class, or up to one week before class when possible.
  • If you register closer to the class date, please begin the online portion as soon as possible after registration.

ATTENDANCE / SAFETY

  • Students work closely together during skills practice, and anyone who appears sick may be asked to leave and reschedule.
  • Non-registered guests are not permitted unless approved in advance.
  • Any request to bring a non-registered guest must be made at least 24 hours before the skills session. Approval is not guaranteed.
  • Our skills sessions involve movement, training equipment, and a focused learning environment, so arriving with an unapproved guest may require you to reschedule.
REMEDIATION
  • If you do not pass the hands-on skills testing requirements, you must review the material and return to retest.
  • The first remediation is free, except in rare cases at instructor discretion.
PHOTOS / VIDEOS / COPYRIGHT
  • Photos and short video clips are welcome.
  • Recording substantial portions of course videos, instructional media, skills demonstrations, or other copyrighted training content is strictly prohibited.
AUTHORIZATIONS (CASH PAYMENTS)
  • If you choose the cash balance option, Cardiox Care may charge the payment method used for your deposit if applicable fees or balances are owed.
  • To switch from cash to debit or credit card, please notify us at least 24 hours before your skills session.
  • If requested in advance, we can send an invoice by text and email. It must be paid before your skills session.
  • Cash receipts are provided after the skills session so we can start on time and maintain session flow.
  • If you need an automatic receipt for reimbursement, please pay electronically in full.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you wait until the skills session to switch from cash to card, a $5 administrative fee may apply.

RESCHEDULING
  • More than 24 hours before skills session: reschedule at no cost.
  • Within 24 hours of skills session: a $30 rescheduling fee will apply.

  • If your within-24-hours reschedule request is approved, you must choose and secure your new skills session date and time within 72 hours of reschedule approval.
  • Your new skills session date and time must also be finalized within 30 days of the original registration date, unless otherwise approved by us.

RED CROSS ONLINE PORTION REQUIREMENT
  • You are registering for the American Red Cross CPR First Aid AED Skills Session, which is the in-person skills checkoff portion.
  • After registration, we will send you the required Red Cross online portion at no additional cost.
