Renewal – You need an active or “expired within 30 days” card of the same discipline  & organization.

Initial – If you are taking the course for the first time or expired past 30 days.

Upon registration, you will receive access to the PALS algorithms and study material for class. 

You will also receive direct links to the PALS pretest and PALS pre-course work.

Throughout your PALS course, you’ll learn to assess, recognize and provide high-quality care to pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening medical emergencies, including shock, cardiac and respiratory events, and how to provide care after the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) during a resuscitation effort.

Yes, upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. 

PALS is geared toward healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units
