NRP INSTRUCTOR-LED EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
These policies help protect your time, our instructors, and the learning environment for all students.
RESCHEDULING
- More than 24 hours before your instructor-led event: reschedule at no cost.
- Within 24 hours of your instructor-led event: our team reviews the request and a rescheduling fee may apply. We will tell you the amount before anything is charged.
- All reschedule requests must be made directly to 281-524-2767 by SMS or phone call from the same phone number used at registration.
- If your within-24-hours reschedule request is approved, you must choose and secure your new date and time within 72 hours of reschedule approval.
- Your new date and time must also be finalized within 30 days of the original registration date, unless otherwise approved by us.
- If no new date is secured within these required timeframes, your registration may be treated as a late cancellation.
NRP PART 1 REQUIREMENT
- You are registering for the instructor-led event, which is Part 2 of the NRP Provider course.
- You are responsible for obtaining and completing Part 1 of the NRP Provider curriculum independently on the NRP Learning Platform before the event.
- The provider level you completed online must match the instructor-led event you booked.
- After completing Part 1 you generally have 90 days to complete the instructor-led event.
- Your Part 1 completion proof must be submitted to us no later than 7:00 p.m. the day before your event.
- Starting early gives you time to contact us before the deadline if you have access issues, missing submissions, or questions about the instructions.
- If Part 1 is not completed and submitted by the deadline, you will be required to reschedule.
CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOW
- 24+ hours before your instructor-led event: a partial refund may be issued after any applicable fee.
- Within 24 hours of your instructor-led event: payments are non-refundable.
- If approved by staff, a partial credit may be applied toward a future instructor-led event within 60 days, after any applicable rescheduling fee has been deducted.
- All cancellation requests must be communicated directly to Cardiox Care by SMS or phone call from the same phone number used at registration.
- No refunds will be issued for a no call / no show.
- Notice received within 1 hour of the start time is treated as a no call / no show and does not qualify for a refund.
ATTENDANCE / SAFETY
- Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. If you arrive 10+ minutes late, you may need to reschedule and fees may apply.
- If you are sick or think you may be sick, please notify us before heading to your instructor-led event so we can help protect other students and advise you on next steps.
- Students work closely together during hands-on practice, and anyone who appears sick may be asked to leave and reschedule.
- Non-registered guests are not permitted unless approved in advance.
- Any request to bring a non-registered guest must be made at least 24 hours before your instructor-led event. Approval is not guaranteed.
- Our sessions involve movement, training equipment, and a focused learning environment, so arriving with an unapproved guest may require you to reschedule.
REMEDIATION
- If you do not pass the hands-on testing requirements, you must review the material and return to retest.
- The first remediation is free, except in rare cases at instructor discretion.
PHOTOS / VIDEOS / COPYRIGHT
- Photos and short video clips are welcome.
- Recording substantial portions of course videos, instructional media, skills demonstrations, or other copyrighted training content is strictly prohibited.
PAYMENT
- This registration is paid in full online. There is no cash-balance option for NRP Instructor-Led Event.
- Paying online gives you an automatic receipt for reimbursement.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of your instructor-led event or do not show up, you remain responsible for the full course cost.
- This policy helps protect reserved instructor time and limited session availability.
